The Company

We have partnered with an exciting Stealth Mode Biotech based in the Bay Area who are working on cellular therapies to fight cancer. This organisation is set to grow rapidly over the next year, with the goal of being in the clinic within 2 years and strong VC support.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate to oversee the development of next-generation T-cell therapies for solid cancers. The successful candidate will need to design and perform experiments, analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot results, as well as communicate and present findings in team meetings. This position is ideal for an individual who is driven and passionate about cell therapy in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Key Requirements

• BS or MS and 0-6 years of industry experience within the field of immunology, immune-oncology, cell therapy, and/or cell biology
• Experience working with engineered T cells and/or other immune cell types
• Experience with tissue culture practices and sterile techniques, including primary immune cells
• Experience developing flow cytometry protocols/panels
• Experience in measuring T-cell functionality. Such as cytokine analysis (ELISA, ELLA, MSD, Luminex), Proliferation, and cytotoxicity assays
• Work collaboratively and proactively with colleagues across the organization
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
