Role: RWD Programmer Consultant
Contract: 6 or 12 months

We are partnered with a leading CRO to find an experienced Real World Data Analytics Programmer/Analyst Consultant to join their team. In this client-facing role, you’ll leverage your analytical expertise to perform statistical analysis on real-world data, supporting various cross-functional teams, including Real World Evidence (RWE) and Global Patient Safety (GPS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute statistical analysis plans for observational research studies.
  • Provide input on database and patient population selection.
  • Perform quality checks on other analysts’ work to ensure accuracy.
  • Support database management and optimization.
  • Develop and automate tools for real-world data (RWD) analytics.
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of SAS programming experience (SQL, R, Python, Matlab, HTML experience preferred).
  • Experience working with large databases (AWS experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of the US healthcare system, including health insurance billing data and electronic medical records.
  • Proven experience with data management, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a "can-do" mentality.

Education:

  • Advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, mathematics, data science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in observational research within life sciences, or relevant academic, government, or consulting environment.
