The Challenge
Warman O’Brien was brought on to support building out the Clinical Operations function for our client, a newly established Rare Diseases Biotech based in Central London. They were prepared to move into the clinic with a selection of drug candidates from a basket of drugs they had acquired from a Large pharma.

Taking a top-down approach, our team initially sourced and selected a Head of Clinical Operations then proceeded to build out a team under him. Due to the confidential nature of the roles, candidates were required to sign NDAs which we were happy to facilitate. Our core focus was to target candidates with previous experience in the following:
- Rare Diseases experience
- Exposure to working in a flexible fast-paced start-up.
- Previous experience working with the new Head of Clinical Operations.
